Personal:

I was a single mom.  Two times over.  We all survived, despite the fact that I make atrocious decisions.  Then, I met a man I didn't deserve.  And he loves me so much.  And I love him. We lived in sin and bought a house for two years then hired a judge and officially got married(to our great delight and also the delight of our mothers), then a month later he was diagnosed with cancer.  Well we survived all that and he's 100% fine now.  But, we're really out of shape and really busy with kids and jobs and running just isn't my priority and there's so many other layers to all of it, but I'm running anyway.  This is my failure blog now.  Just to log that one run a week if I snag it.
Somehow that matters and I want that run recorded.

You're looking strong lately Julie--I think you should go for it. What does Sasha think? I'm unsure of my spring marathon future. We are broke, my night shift schedule is heavy, sleep deprivation is a major issue with no end in sight. We have a short sale offer on the house, if the bank doesn't take it we are moving anyway and they can foreclose. Enough is enough. So that will be more stress coming by February first. I have told myself I will get something in 6 days a week if at all possible, even if it is only a few miles. My window to sleep daily is from 8am to 2pm. If I want to run I have to cut into that. The great debate, sleep or run? EMS--no such thing as lunchbreaks, etc...I am newly on a busy rotation so no post with a treadmill to try and squeeze one in in the wee morning hours. I am not running a spring marathon if I am not in reasonable shape. Future uncertain.
