Personal:

I was a single mom.  Two times over.  We all survived, despite the fact that I make atrocious decisions.  Then, I met a man I didn't deserve.  And he loves me so much.  And I love him. We lived in sin and bought a house for two years then hired a judge and officially got married(to our great delight and also the delight of our mothers), then a month later he was diagnosed with cancer.  Well we survived all that and he's 100% fine now.  But, we're really out of shape and really busy with kids and jobs and running just isn't my priority and there's so many other layers to all of it, but I'm running anyway.  This is my failure blog now.  Just to log that one run a week if I snag it.
Somehow that matters and I want that run recorded.

8:43 AP.  Early morning recovery run.  By 5am it was 79 degrees and 52% humidity.  I plodded along at a gentle 9:30 sleep-run pace until the last few miles when I had to get it going on to get home on time.

sounds like our weather is pretty similar!

I'm familiar with sleep-run pace.

Glad you got to plod :)

So I am down 6 lbs as of today, only 4 more to go to be back at pre-injury weight. 9 more to get to marathoning weight. Now I am kicking myself for going out to eat tonight! I have been doing so good. Ugh.

April--it's looking to be a wicked hot summer. Waaaa

Joe--that's the only pace I entertain before 5am

Lily--way to get over half gone! That is my fear--that I will go and undo it all in a moment of weakness. So hard to get it off and so easy to put it back on! It's not fair!

Allie--I am hoping I have learned my lesson once and for all about recovery!

If only we could all be as tiny as Allie girl! She looks so awesome!

Oh by the way April, you running St. Geezy marathon right? I am to so we need to meet up!

From seeaprilrun on Wed, Jun 08, 2011 at 22:17:51 from 174.70.177.86

I don't think I am genetically capable of Allie tiny. Yes! We must meet! I am flying into Vegas Thursday morning Sept 29th, driving to Saint George, and staying in the Econolodge a few blocks from that park where they load the buses. I will have a rental car so I can get around some!

From Kelli on Wed, Jun 08, 2011 at 23:40:34 from 71.219.92.225

My sleep run pace is more like 11 minute miles. ;o)

Sorry, but your weather sounds awful! I think our high today was 78. It was quite lovely, but it will not last!
